Edyta Mąsior – Bubbles, You See Now? (2013) 8:19

Kompozycja wideo, w której bańki mydlane i ich ulotne kształty są przedstawiane w różnych kontekstach. Pokazuje ideę translokacji pomiędzy mediami będącej zmienną formę zmienną poprzez sposób poruszania się baniek mydlanych w różnych przestrzeniach,  jako część krajobrazu, wzdłuż torów kolejowych (technologii), wśród ruin zamku (upływ czasu). 

Nieuchwytna struktura baniek, fantastyczna, czasem magiczna, jak „kolor, który albo eksploatuje poetycki wymiar obiektów i ciał lub po prostu analizuje wizualne i estetyczne wymiary w jego symbolicznym i narracyjnym otoczeniu” (Margarita Stavraki).

A video in which soap bubbles and their ephemeral shapes are presented in different contexts. Inside a landscape, along train tracks (technology), amongst ruins of a castle (the passing of time) in furthermore supporting an idea of translocation by the way of media as a form of change and variation, by the way of moving soap bubbles in different spaces.

The elusive structure of the soap bubble is at times fantastic, at times magical, where “color either exploits the poetic dimension of object and bodies or simply analyses their visual and aesthetic dimensions with a narrative and symbolic environment” (Margarita Stavraki).

Judit Kurtág and Zxoe Strizzi Marrero participated in the shooting of the video material.

The music was composed by Leszek Hefi Wiśniowski.
